Last month, I went down to Rich Scott’s place to see Mica, and Rich put him in the round pen, and moved him around.

Then he picked up his feet, without the halter, and touched him with the flag.

Then Rich invited me to come into the roundpen and work with Mica for the very first time. Rich very kindly offered to take photos for me.

Mica was very curious about me as I approached him, and once I touched him, began sniffing me and checking me out.

He was very easy to touch, and put a halter on, and I led him around the pen and stopped and petted him on both sides.

Then Rich took him outside for a little work with obstacles, a couple of posts on the ground, and he was very easily led over them.

I am looking forward to Mica coming to my house in a couple of weeks so he can meet his new brothers and settle in at my house. We had a little delay because he got the flu, but he is much better now.

Oh Carol! He’s beautiful! I love his eyes and he looks like a Steiff toy, he’s so fuzzy. He also looks very pleased with himself at mastering the horizontal ‘poles’. Smart boy!!!

Carol, you had me in tears watching these pictures! How incredible for you and for Mica. A match made in heaven if he can’t live free, I’m so happy he’ll be with you!
He is just magnificent. What a face. I make stuffed animals; I think I might have to make a Mica. Amazing. Is he from Cloud’s band? I can’t remember.
So great to see–but not half as great as it must have been for you. Can’t wait to see him too!
